AIS EARLY DETECTORS

Early detection of aquatic invasive species (AIS) can be the difference between long-term management and potential eradication--the difference between $$$ and $. Once they become well-established, invasive species can be very difficult to control, and may be impossible to eradicate. CLICK HERE for the guide (55 MB, 49 pages)

Clean Boats - Clean Water logo

Our Moen chain is still free of the nastier Invasive Aquatic species such as Zebra Mussels and Eurasian Watermilfoil.  I hope you are like me and want to keep it free of them.  However this will not happen if we are not vigilant in protecting our Chain both by our own actions with our watercraft but also by ensuring that outside boaters do not introduce them.  Please volunteer for CBCW.  It only involves a few hours of your time. As the saying goes "more hands make work light". Thanks in advance for your help. Here is how to volunteer in 3 easy steps:

1) Click this link to see the time spots setup on SignUp.com
2) Review the options listed and choose the spot(s) you like.
3) Sign up! It's Easy - you will NOT need to register an account or keep a password on SignUp.com.

Note: SignUp.com does not share your email address with anyone. If you prefer not to use your email address, please contact Mark Marek  mmarek01@gmail.com and I can sign you up manually.
