MISSION Statement
To provide association members information of concern; to represent it's members with other organizations and public officials; and to conduct such other activities as are appropriate to fish and aquatic habitat protection, maintenance, and enhancement on the Moen Lake Chain of Lakes.
In early 2011 DNR fisheries biologist John Kubisiak told us "Stocking is a tool to fix a problem with recruitment, usually walleyes or muskies in this region because they have the fussiest habitat requirements for spawning. Natural reproduction has been adequate to sustain their populations in the Moen Chain and no stocking is required or recommended. Past stocking was very limited and was likely to satisfy social pressures, rather than a biological need."
